Good day

Well I am hoping that today will be a good day. I woke up with no notes on our door and my car is still in the parking lot. Although I havn't heard from the Apartment Store since the note on our door, i'm sure it won't be long until the next one. Although my roomate did happen to mention that our little get together on Saturday was noted by the Apartment Store as our final warning. I wasn't there to hear this but it doesn't surprise me. O well, I guess we'll just have to take it down a notch. Well maybe just for a week...

Never stops

It seems like we can never catch a break with the good old Apartment Store. Today I came back from class to find a note hanging from our door handle with our apartment number written on it. I knew it couldn't be good. When I got in, I opened the letter and began to read. The letter was a final warning to us regarding "items on our deck." The letter proceeded in telling us that if we don't not remove a mop and an empty case of "beverages" from our deck, we will be charged $33 per hour, that these items are on the deck. Give me a break. I knew we couldn't have things such as a grill and stuff like that, but a mop and an empty case?

Greedy

Shifting gears from the parking issue, another issue has been brought to my attention. Myself along with my three other roomates were cleaning up after a "get together" and were taking the trash out. We set the trash bag outside of our door to make some space. About 45 minutes later I took the trash bag to the dumpster. Two days later we recieved a letter on our door that contained an invoice for $25 that was to be paid to, none other than, the Apartement Store for having a bag of trash outside of our door. I could see if we left the trash bag out there for a day or two but 45 minutes?? Going along with the parking tickets and towing, anyway they can get money I guess...

South Rock Parking

It all started last semester when The Apartment Store all of a sudden decided to start towing cars without a parking pass. Now granted, I know the rules and I understand that they don't want unwanted guests parking in their praking lots, but to just up and decide to tow cars is pretty ridiculous. I recieved a note in my mail that I needed to get a parking pass from the Apartment Store before they towed my car. I went down to obtain a pass and told me, "we are all sold out." I was in disbeliefe that they could just run out of passes. Little to my surprise my car was towed and I recieved a bill for $125 to reclaim my car from the towing company. After many heated disputes with the Apartment Store, they reluctantly gave me a temporary pass for the remainder of the semester. Has anyone else been slammed by these people or am I the only misfortunate one to feel their wrath?
